A Dark Knight indeed.

I recently went to go sit and enjoy The Dark Knight for the second time tonight, and must say for seeing it twice now in the span of a couple of days,(which I have only deemed to a small select few movies in my life.) I can truthfully and sincerely say it's one of the best movies I have seen. And very well a strong candidate for my top three movies of all time. It's been a long time since I have sat through a movie and just been blown away by the intelligence, thought, and personality that a filmmaker puts into a movie; especially one that is considered a "Summer Blockbuster." Which is a term that I don’t hold in very high regard; especially when it comes to comic book adaptations into movies. When a director loses control to the elitist Hollywood producer, i.e. Spider-Man 3.

This is why I was nervous and scarred to see what will become of the Dark Knight. Heath Leger’s Joker was everything I expected to see out of the "True" nemesis of the Caped Crusader. No villain is more famous than the Joker, and Heath brought the Joker that gives the word nemesis its real meaning. He was sadistic, psychotic, and the exact polar opposite of everything Batman stands for. The moment that proves this more than anything throughout the entire 166 minutes of goodness in my mind is while The Joker walks out of the Hospital in a female nurse’s outfit. He deserves the Oscar nomination or honorable mention for Best Actor with this performance.

One other thing that I loved about the Dark Knight is how you don't feel like it's a superhero movie, like Iron Man or Superman. There is an unbelievable sense of realism that is put into this movie, like it is possible that these characters could exist, The Joker wasn't a criminal made by a chemical accident; he's just a psychopath with really nasty scares and a love for chaos. The movie follows around Batman, and The Joker sure they are the drivers of this cinematic semi of awesomeness, but it just as equally about the cops, the lawyers and the disordered mob family. This in my opinion makes this a crime drama more than a comic book/superhero movie.

I can't wait to see this movie again, but hopefully without the semi obese fellow with, body odor, a nasal breathing problem, and a love for candy that he feels to smack though out in a 90 degree IMAX movie theater. Sorry Sydney for crowding you, I was just trying to gain some distance away from the smelly guy.

I'm Here....

Well children, It's happened. I've decided to rid my life of the once fascinating and fun now turned annoying, immature, and sad site of myspace. I was officially turned off when I wrote my last blog on their so called easy and convenient blog page. Come to find out it mysteriously disappeared the following day, probably because at one time in my life my page was hacked... and unbeknownst to me, the sadistically fiend was messing around with my posts, settings and even my content of my page. Well I can't have that now can I? So whoever you are that is plotting my insanity via myspace, have fun login into a page that no longer exists. What up! So here I am now a part of the blogger community. What can I say, it's been work in progress to get me here, so to all my friends who felt the need to hint and push onto this site, here I am.

There shall be more to follow, but alas now I'm running behind I'll be late to Batman if I don't leave now....
